Giambertoni 19, 92100 Agrigento. In order to reach our B&B, please use the
following address for the GPS : “Via Atenea 171”.
When you reach the Via
Atenea Street, keep going until you reach the number 171, parked on the right and walk (
by foot and turn on the left) about 20 meters on the alley with a view of the
sea (via Giambertoni); the house number 19 corresponds at the B&B “Alloggio
della Posta Vecchia".
ATTENTION PLEASE:
VIA ATENEA is limited traffic zone (ZTL): you can get, with a
special permit, in the pedestrian zone driving very slowly just to loading up
and unloading your luggage (you can stop for 5 min.)
After unloading your
luggages we will show you the public
parking really
close to the B&, just 5 minutes by walking.
IF ARRIVING BY BUS AND YOU WISH TO WALK:
The bus leave you to Piazzale Rosselli. Proceed to the Post Office building that you will let the right and cross the wide Piazza Vittorio Emanuele, the end of which you turn right at the streetlight, following the sign "Via Atenea / Teatro Pirandello". Before the climb, turn left, following the sign "Via Atenea". Proceed for a few meters and take via Atenea, the first street on your right. In via Atenea, at number 171, turn left on Via Giambertoni, and at the number 19 you will find the main door of the B & B.
IF YOU ARE ARRIVING BY TRAIN AND YOU WANT TO WALK:
Leaving the station behind, proceed to the left and go around the Bank of Sicily, past the main entrance. Proceed up the hill and take the first right, and at the crossroads turn left on to via Atenea. In Via Atenea, at number 171 , turn left on Via Giambertoni, and at the number 19 you will find the main door of the B & B.
IF YOU ARRIVE BY CAR OR MOTORBIKE:
FROM PALERMO:
Take the road Palermo-Agrigento (SS189) towards Agrigento. To enter the city, follow the signs towards the center and you'll find yourself in Piazzale Rosselli. Turn left and cross Piazza Vittorio Emanuele, the end of which you turn right at the streetlight, following the sign "Teatro Pirandello" or "Via Atenea". Before the climb, turn left, following the sign "Via Atenea". Proceed for a few meters and take via Atenea, the first street on your right. Living up to n. 171 parked on the right, and then walk, turn left on Via Giambertoni and at the number 19 you will find the main door of the B & B.
FROM CATANIA:
Take the Palermo-Catania (A19) towards Palermo. Exit at Caltanissetta and follow the signs to Agrigento (SS640). To enter the city, ignore the first sign to Agrigento Centre and continue along the road to the roundabout. At the roundabout take the first road on the right leading up to the Temple of Juno and continues to Agrigento along the Valley of the Temples. Follow the signs to the center. Once in Station Square, the traffic lights turn right and, just after the Carabinieri station and before the Piazza Vittorio Emanuele, turn left. Before the climb, turn left, following the sign "Via Atenea".Proceed for a few meters and take via Atenea, the first street on your right. Living up to n. 171 parked on the right, and then walk, turn left on Via Giambertoni and at the number 19 you will find the main door of the B & B.
FROM TRAPANI:
From the A29, take the exit Castelvetrano and the state (SS 115) in the direction of Agrigento. To enter the city, follow the signs to the center. Once in Station Square, the traffic lights turn left and, just after the Carabinieri station and before the Piazza Vittorio Emanuele, turn left. Before the climb, turn left, following the sign "Via Atenea". Proceed for a few meters and take via Atenea, the first street on your right.Living up to n. 171 parked on the right, and then walk, turn left on Via Giambertoni and at the number 19 you will find the main door of the B & B.
FROM RAGUSA /GELA:
Take the road (SS 115) in the direction of Agrigento and enter the city follow the signs to the center from the roundabout beneath the Temple of Juno. Once in Station Square, the traffic lights turn right and, just after the Carabinieri station and before the Piazza Vittorio Emanuele, turn left. Before the climb, turn left, following the sign "Via Atenea". Proceed for a few meters and take via Atenea, the first street on your right.
